    One of the ideas behind this chart is that more and more R&D and clinical work related to cancer therapy strategies involving nanoparticles is going on. Actually, when exploring the data in the Clinicaltrials.gov database, most of the clinical trials mentioning nanoparticles deal with formulations for the treatment of patients suffering of cancer (see https://nanocolors.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/clinical-trial-trends-comments-focus-on-abraxane/ ). This is thus probably these days the therapeutic area where the use of nanoparticles is the most developped.
    Should you have additional questions, I’ll be glad to develop these issues further in other comments or posts ; feel also free to use the above chart on your blog with a short ref to Nanocolors.
